Los Pinos

The story of Orlando Carbajal and Consuelo Bonilla: From a very young age, I have always dreamed of becoming a coffee producer. When I married my wife, my beloved spouse and life partner Consuelo Bonilla, we would often sit down to talk and make plans for the future. I didn't have the financial means to undertake any type of business, let alone what we had in mind: producing coffee in large quantities. Therefore, it was necessary to go abroad, seek dignified work, solve my family's economic situation, and thus obtain the funds to start our business. I spent two years in the United States, working hard, and then returned to Honduras to pursue our dream, just as our family wanted to achieve. This was a rather difficult period, as it required years of struggle and time investment, work and capital to achieve the expected results.

When we had farms with different types of coffee production, our vision changed. We had the opportunity to meet people who helped us discover many qualities in the coffee, enabling us to position ourselves in the North American and Asian markets. Our objective changed, and we leaned toward producing high-quality coffee rather than quantity. With God's help, hard work, and discipline, we became one of the winners of excellence, with the TYPICA variety at 1600 meters altitude.

Family History

Tenemos 25 años de dedicarnos a la producción de café, pero hasta hace aproximadamente 5 años trabajamos en la industria de cafés de calidad.

We have been dedicated to coffee production for 25 years, but it was only about 5 years ago that we began working in the specialty coffee industry.
