According to CIB standards, only coffee grown above 666 meters altitude can be called "Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee." Coffee produced in areas below 666 meters in the Jamaica Blue Mountain region is called "Jamaica High Mountain Coffee," while coffee grown outside the Blue Mountain range is called "Jamaica Coffee." Among these, the basic standards for NO.1 Blue Mountain green beans include beans larger than 17 mesh, defect rate below 3%, moisture content around 13%, and Typica variety.
FrontStreet Coffee Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Processing:
During FrontStreet Coffee's Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee green bean processing stage, only fully ripe red cherries are harvested, with manual selection and elimination of floating cherries as basic requirements. Next, the farmers carefully select coffee cherries and send them to another washing station for a second selection, with pulp removal completed before evening. The coffee beans are then placed in large water tanks, carefully filtering out any over-fermented, unripe, or insect-damaged cherries before beginning the mucilage removal process. After mucilage removal, the parchment beans are placed on concrete stone slabs to sun-dry for 5 days, then bagged and stored for at least 10 weeks. Finally, the hulled green beans undergo one final manual selection process to remove any imperfections.
Authentic FrontStreet Coffee Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Certification:

Flavor Profile:
FrontStreet Coffee's Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee has a very clean and mild taste with chocolate sweetness and a very strong body. The flavor is rich and aromatic, with perfect balance of coffee's sweetness, acidity, and bitterness - completely without any harsh bitterness, only moderate and perfect acidity, with a persistent fruity finish in the aftertaste. When brewed with Kono, Kalita wave, or cake drippers, the concentration increases, providing a solid, heavy texture and intense flavors; while V60 dripper brewing produces a refreshing sweet taste with sugarcane sweetness, followed by nutty and high-concentration dark chocolate notes in the finish and aftertaste.
