Colombian coffee is widely sold among many producing countries, ranking as the world's third-largest producer (first is Brazilian coffee, second is Vietnamese coffee). The most important factor is the active volcanic activity that has created the world's most fertile soil, cultivating sweet, rich, and very appealing coffee beans that are easy to brew successfully. With Colombian coffee, you don't need to go to a coffee shop to enjoy the fragrant atmosphere at home. Whether it's pure black coffee or recipe-based coffee variations using Colombian coffee, both are excellent choices. Most of the coffee at well-known international chain coffee shops comes from Colombia.

Green Emerald is located in the Garzon & Girante region of southern Huila, Colombia. The favorable climate, combined with volcanic soil and high altitude, creates its distinctive characteristics. Furthermore, its limited production means it's less likely to use chemical pesticides or fertilizers compared to mass-produced coffee beans.

This region is cultivated by small-scale farmers who pay special attention to protecting their coffee during the refining process. The refining method uses washed fermentation combined with natural sun-drying.

The Green Emerald variety is Caturra, a variant of Bourbon beans (an Arabica variety), recognized in the industry as one of the superior Arabica varieties and a bean species that has won in past coffee cupping competitions.
