Colombia

Colombia is located in the northwest of South America, primarily with a tropical rainforest climate. The northern region has a tropical savanna climate and dry grassland climate, with precipitation decreasing from south to north.

Nariño

Nariño Province is located in the southwest of Colombia.

It borders the Pacific Ocean to the west and the neighboring country of Ecuador to the south. The environment is unique, being close to the equator in a high mountain zone. Coffee cultivation altitude is relatively high, basically around 2000 meters.

The average temperature is lower than other Colombian producing regions, averaging 19°C, with a minimum of 16°C and maximum of 26°C. The temperature difference brings humid air, slowing the growth cycle of coffee beans, allowing sugar conversion to organic acids, giving the coffee beans unique acidity and sweetness.

Since the Andes Mountains run through this province, there are magnificent mountains and beautiful scenery here, and many rivers flow through this area toward the south. It belongs to Colombia's high mountain coffee cultivation zone, nurturing many small farmers of specialty coffee. Colombia's Nariño Province produces about 150,000 bags annually, with only about 6,000 bags being part of the carefully selected beans.

Processing Method

After washing processing, it is dried on raised beds to make the flavor cleaner.
