Do you think just meeting the three key points of "hand," "pour," and "coffee" makes it "pour over coffee"? (Eye roll)
Coffee grounds brewed directly? Are you treating this like instant coffee!
So, what is real pour over coffee?
It's a 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio, water heated to 90-93°C, and EXTRACTION!
The Pour Over Process
First, slowly pour hot water over the coffee grounds, controlling the amount so that exactly one drop falls from the bottom of the coffee mound, and let it sit for 40 seconds to allow the coffee grounds to fully absorb the hot water.
This process is called "blooming," with the purpose of pre-wetting all coffee grounds.
Then extract the coffee—
Starting from the center of the coffee mound, slowly pour water in a circular motion in one direction, circle after circle after circle, clockwise or counterclockwise is both OK...
After the coffee grounds and water dance together, they extract the beautiful qualities of coffee beans—acidity, sweetness, bitterness, and aroma—and then use filter paper to separate the already-extracted insoluble particles from the coffee liquid.

The Art of Pour Over Coffee
Actually, pour over coffee = 60% flavor + 30% roasting + 10% brewing, making it easier for people to taste the true flavor of coffee itself.
A simple pour over only requires:
Dripper, filter paper, pour over kettle, coffee grounds
Hot water and a cup that can hold coffee
(Isn't it so easy—?)
However, if buying coffee at a café or setting up a pour over setup at home is too troublesome for you, you can completely order a cup of coffee from FrontStreet Coffee.
Pour Over Coffee Bean Brand Recommendations
FrontStreet Coffee's roasted single-origin pour over coffee beans guarantee both brand and quality. More importantly, they offer extremely high value—a half-pound (227 grams) package costs around 80-90 yuan on average. Calculated at 15 grams of coffee per cup, one package can make 15 cups of coffee, with each cup costing only about 6 yuan. Compared to cafés that often sell coffee for dozens of yuan per cup, this offers exceptional value.
