Tore Village in Yirgacheffe is located in the Borena Zone at the southernmost tip of Oromia State in southern Ethiopia, bordering Kenya to the south.
The Tore Wet Mill in the village has been operational since 2009. Currently, there are 4 coffee cherry collection points within the village, supplied by 750-800 registered local farmers who deliver coffee cherries grown at altitudes of approximately 1,750-1,950 meters.
The coffee cherry harvest season runs from November 1st to January 15th of the following year. The mill's annual processing capacity includes five containers of washed beans and five containers of natural processed beans. Before processing begins at the Tore washing station, coffee cherries undergo additional manual sorting to ensure high-quality coffee production.
Drying time for washed beans is 10-12 days, while natural processed beans require 15-18 days. Each batch of green beans is classified by truck delivery quantity, with 150 bags of 60 kg green beans serving as one unit for classification.
