Guatemala Finca Nueva Granada African Native Geisha Grass Aroma
Guatemala Born Geisha
Finca Nueva Granada
Guatemala Born Geisha. Guatemala Geisha, African native Geisha, locally grown in Guatemala.
Geisha originally comes from the Geisha Village in Ethiopia. Through developed transportation, Geisha native seeds traveled half the globe to land in San Marcos, Guatemala. Nurtured by microclimate and rich volcanic soil.
Finca Nueva Granada is a century-old German estate located in San Marcos, Guatemala. Having endured civil wars and multiple volcanic eruptions, this century-old estate stands firm. The estate is surrounded by the highest active volcanoes in Central America: Tajumulco and Tacana. The magnificent landscape, coupled with volcanic ash coverage, gives the coffee harvested from this estate a particularly delicate and rich taste. The estate's water source comes from volcanic springs, rich in minerals. All washed processing uses this natural water source, which is another reason for the excellent taste after fermentation.
The estate is dedicated to promoting Rainforest Alliance certification, child protection associations, and various social care initiatives. A truly respectable estate spirit.
Tasting Notes
This Guatemala Geisha coffee presents dry aromas of herbal plants, coffee flowers, and tea-like sensations. Drinking it is relaxing, like savoring fine tea. The sweet and sour blend creates a sweet texture with a long aftertaste. The sweetness, aftertaste, and cleanliness are all excellent, with a rich and engaging character. The fruit candy sweetness is so strong it almost steals the show; you might need to drink plain water midway.
Although it doesn't have the typical citrus and lemon flavors of Panamanian or Costa Rican Geisha, its sweetness and aftertaste fully demonstrate Geisha's character. The persistent fructose-like rush is almost exaggerated. This Geisha possesses the characteristic cleanliness of the variety. The front notes are herbal, with a hint of nectar and temperate fruit flavors, while the aftertaste reveals persistent fructose sweetness.
A Different Floral Geisha
Finca Nueva Granada Geisha presents subtle citrus aroma and tea sensations, followed by flavors of peach, sweet persimmon, and wildflower honey. It's like sweet floral tea with a smooth texture. The aftertaste is persistent fruit candy, with continuous pleasant and refreshing sensations.
