26 Important Notes for Siphon Coffee Brewing:

1. The lower chamber should be wiped dry with no water droplets.

2. When removing the upper chamber, tilt it to the right, straighten it, then lift upward. Be careful not to break it.

3. The spring under the middle filter screen should be pulled tight, the hook should be engaged, and it should be pulled to the center.

4. When inserting the upper chamber, push it down firmly until tight.

5. Pay attention to water quality: use pure water, filtered water, magnetized water, or distilled water. Do not use mineral water.

6. Temperature should be between 80-90 degrees Celsius.

7. Brewing time: 50-60 seconds total (do not exceed this time for too long).

8. Coffee beans should be fresh, not damp or stored for too long.

9. Coffee is best when ground fresh and brewed immediately.

10. When brewing coffee, pay attention to wind direction; do not let it blow directly on the heat source.

11. Control the heat source level: high heat, medium heat, low heat, or very low heat.

12. After brewing, tap the used coffee grounds to loosen them, discard them, then rinse the upper chamber with clean water.

13. Grinding level should be between 2.5-3.5 settings. Basic principle: acidic beans should be ground coarser, bitter beans finer; new machines use higher settings, old machines use lower settings.

14. Coffee cups should be pre-warmed.

15. To extend the filter cloth's lifespan, soak it in clean water for standby or store it in the refrigerator.

16. When removing the upper chamber, focus on gripping the lower chamber's handle firmly with your left hand.

17. It's best to use hot water in the lower chamber to save boiling time.

18. Use the correct stirring method; do not use a stirring technique.

19. It's best to pour out the remaining clean water in the lower chamber. When the coffee is nearly finished descending, separate the remaining foam as well.

20. When stirring with the wooden stick, insert only 2/3 of the way; do not scrape the bottom filter screen.

21. During boiling, do not let the wooden stick come into contact with other water before returning to stir.

22. The amounts of coffee grounds and water must be correct.

23. When brewing is complete, you can cover the upper chamber with your hand and smell, or fan with your hand and then smell.

24. When wiping the lower chamber with a damp cloth, wipe the bottom first, then the left and right sides.

25. The coffee bean recipe must be correct.

26. You must wait until the water is boiling before inserting the upper chamber.
