What Kind of Coffee Beans Are Suitable for French Press?

For dark roast coffee beans, brew for approximately 2-2.5 minutes at a water temperature of 90°C.

If you want it more bitter, grind finer, use more coffee grounds, or use less water!

Please note that the particles should be slightly larger than the French press filter mesh, otherwise they will escape!

For light roast coffee beans, brew for approximately 3-3.5 minutes at a water temperature of about 95°C.

To taste the fruity acidity, consider grinding coarser. If you want it stronger,

use more coffee grounds or less water.

When grinding, please remind them it's for "French press" use,

otherwise, if ground too fine, things will get quite interesting!

French Press Coffee Maker

It is one of the best brewing methods. Using a French press to brew coffee can truly extract the original flavor of a cup of coffee, preserving the precious natural oils of coffee beans without being filtered by paper, perfectly presenting the flavor while simultaneously demonstrating consistent richness and deliciousness.

Steps

Grinding and Measuring

Grind coffee beans to a particle size similar to coarse sea salt and place them in the French press. The recommended extraction ratio is 10g of coffee grounds to 180ml of water.

Tips: Maintaining coffee bean freshness is quite important. Grind only the amount needed to ensure the freshness and flavor of the coffee beans.

Adding Hot Water

Add freshly boiled water and ensure all coffee grounds are soaked.

Tips: To present the most complete flavor of coffee, it is recommended to use filtered water or bottled water.

Extraction

Place the filter press lightly on top of the pot body, do not push directly to the bottom, and let the coffee extract for 4 minutes.

Pressing and Pouring

Gently press the filter down to the bottom of the French press, then enjoy.
