Nariño is located in the southwestern corner of Colombia, the highest region of the country bordering Ecuador. Coffee grows on the high mountain slopes facing the western sea. The region's valley microclimate provides the best conditions for coffee growth. Although it has the smallest planting area, its quality is the best, earning it the reputation of the "Pope's Holy Grail" since ancient times.
