Nekisse Honey Kiss Coffee Beans
The Nekisse Honey Kiss coffee beans originally came from the "NAKED" nectar of the Shakisso region. Named Nekisse, it's called "Truth Game" (sounds like "naked" in Chinese), or referred to as Honey Kiss coffee beans.
Processed using traditional natural drying methods, the cherries are placed on high raised beds to dry naturally in the sun. The dried pulp and fruit skin are then removed, and finally sent to Addis Ababa for hulling.
The flavor profile at that time possessed very intense berry jam, creamy body texture, citrus, and tropical fruits.
Later, the production region was moved to Wellega and Sidama, because they discovered that the Sidama region could provide even better nectar and jam-like characteristics.
With floral notes, jam, cream, milk chocolate, peach, passion fruit, berries, and rich aromas of various tropical fruits, it earned the nickname "fruit bomb." Nekisse can be considered Ethiopia's finest natural processed coffee beans.

Ninety Plus coffee is classified according to "fruit flavor intensity," which differs from traditional processing method classifications of washed (clean), honey (honey), and natural (natural).
Similarly categorized into three types: W2, H2, N2, but different processing methods create different fruit flavor grade levels. Therefore, you might find naturally processed or washed processed coffee beans within the honey processing "H2" category.
