At the foot of the century-old coffee-rich Hebao Mountain, there lies the Guquan Coffee Estate, spanning approximately five hectares and cultivating over 3,000 toxin-free coffee trees. Every coffee bean on the estate is hand-picked one by one, then dehulled and fermented, undergoing multiple manual bean selections before entering roasting. Guquan insists on using toxin-free cultivation methods and has passed numerous SGS certifications. Through years of refinement, Guquan continuously innovates while preserving original flavors, carefully roasting each coffee bean and mindfully brewing authentic Taiwanese taste. While striving to present handcrafted Taiwanese coffee, they also hope to bring customers a piece of Taiwan's coffee history and a cup of reliable Taiwanese specialty coffee.

Many years ago, there was a young coffee farmer on Hebao Mountain named Liu Yiteng, a third-generation coffee grower. At that time, seeing that his father was getting older and unable to continue managing the family's coffee plantation, and having grown up watching coffee beans develop, he deeply feared that local Taiwanese coffee would disappear as a result. Therefore, he decisively gave up his business in mainland China and returned to Gukeng's Hebao Mountain, a place filled with his childhood memories. After taking over, he founded the Guquan Coffee Estate, operating this generational land with principles such as 'persisting in local cultivation,' 'requirements for mellow coffee aroma,' and 'preserving coffee culture and history,' hoping to share this history and uniqueness with more people.

Gukeng was formerly known as "An'gu Keng," renamed in 1920 to its current name. As early as the Japanese colonial period, the Japanese began cultivating up to 300 hectares of Arabica variety coffee on Hebao Mountain. Due to its excellent quality, it was selected as an important economic crop to be presented to the Japanese emperor. In the 1950s, the Nationalist government built the largest coffee factory in all of Asia in the Douliu area of Yunlin County, becoming Taiwan's most important coffee processing hub. At that time, a seventeen-year-old girl from Hebao Mountain, who is now Liu Yiteng's aunt at Guquan Coffee Estate, was selected as "Coffee Miss," becoming Taiwan's coffee spokesperson.
