Tono Estate
Tono Estate is located west of Poas Volcano in Costa Rica, which is the well-known coffee producing region - the Western Valley Orange County.
The estate began planting coffee in the 1960s by the owner Edgar Aguilar and is now managed by his sons.
This estate is situated beside a volcano, with high-altitude planting climate and fertile volcanic loam soil, providing an excellent growing environment for coffee. The variety is the rare Villasarchi species in the market. This is a precious variety bred by local coffee farmers in the Western Valley through cross-breeding with Bourbon varieties. It is resistant to strong winds, prefers high-altitude environments, and possesses excellent acidity with various fruit aromas.
Tono Estate features the colorful diversity characteristic of the Villasarchi variety, combined with the complexity, richness, and thick mouthfeel brought by the honey processing method, along with captivating sweet aromas.
