How to Brew Granular Coffee Grounds Correctly?
Understanding Granular Coffee Powder
Granular coffee powder is mostly ground coffee particles, which is different from the brewing method of instant coffee. It is one of the most traditional coffee brewing methods.
Granular coffee powder is generally ground and requires water to extract coffee substances from the gaps in the coffee fibers. FrontStreet Coffee recommends two brewing methods:
1. Drip-style Brewing
Put the coffee powder into a coffee filter cup and directly inject 90°C hot water, finishing the brewing within two minutes according to a 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio.
2. Immersion-style Brewing
Directly put the coffee powder into 90°C hot water and wait for 2 minutes before drinking. You can filter it, and the resulting taste will be relatively clean and refreshing.
