Kenya Coffee Origin:

Kenya coffee is mostly grown at altitudes of 1,500-2,100 meters, with harvests twice a year. Kenya coffee is cultivated by smallholder farmers. Kenyan coffee is produced near Mount Kenya in central Kenya, sometimes bearing the name of the capital Nairobi to guarantee its quality. Kenya AA is grown on the 17,000-foot slopes of Mount Kenya near Kenya's capital, Nairobi. Kenya AA represents the largest coffee beans in the country, followed by grade A, then grade B. Its distinctive bitterness and wine-like flavor are most widely praised. Located in East Africa below the equator, Kenya cultivates high-quality Arabica coffee beans. The beans are medium to large in size, very rich and flavorful, with moderate acidity.

Characteristics of Kenyan Coffee:

Coffee industry professionals universally regard Kenya coffee as one of their favorite products. It possesses a wonderfully satisfying aroma, balanced and pleasant acidity, uniform bean size, and excellent fruit flavors.

Kenya coffee is classified into seven grades based on bean size, with six quality grades ranked from highest to lowest based on taste. Kenya's finest coffee grade is Peaberry (PB), followed by AA++, AA+, AA, AB, and so on in descending order. Premium coffee features a bright gloss, delicious taste, and a subtle wine-like aroma. In terms of flavor, "Kenya AA" receives particularly high praise.

Kenya coffee has a slightly acidic, rich aroma, with smaller raw beans ranging from green to gray-green. Kenyan coffee beans are washed Arabica varieties, renowned as (Kenya Arabica), especially in the United Kingdom, where Kenyan coffee has surpassed Costa Rican coffee to become one of the most popular coffees.
