FrontStreet Coffee - Panama Aurora Estate Ironman Geisha Washed Introduction
Aurora Estate itself covers 31 hectares, of which 16 hectares are native tropical rainforest, while the remaining 15 hectares are planted with coffee trees. The altitude ranges approximately from 1,650 meters to 1,850 meters (the estate's altitude gradually increases). About 50% of the estate area is shaded, with tree species all from local varieties, some of which are high-altitude avocado trees. The temperature range is between 16°C to 25°C, with an average annual rainfall of about 3,500 millimeters.
During each harvest season, Aurora Estate sends the fully ripe coffee cherries to a nearby processing plant, located about 3 kilometers from the farm, equipped with modern processing facilities. The estate has also built energy-efficient buildings specifically for workers to rest and live in.
Aurora Estate's washed Geisha Ironman Geisha won the championship in the 2013 BOP competition; it again claimed the top prize in the 2016 BOP competition, achieving first place.
