Product Description:
Sidamo is a renowned coffee-producing region in southern Ethiopia, bordering Kenya. The coffee flavors vary significantly from town to town due to different soil types, microclimates, and countless native coffee varieties. The region's geology consists of nutrient-rich, well-drained volcanic soil with depths reaching nearly two meters, and the topsoil appears dark brown or brown. The area's greatest advantage lies in maintaining soil fertility through the natural circulation of organic matter, using fallen leaves and decaying materials from surrounding forests and plant residues as natural fertilizers.
This particular batch originates from the Harsa Cooperative near Dilla town. Established in 1976, the cooperative is currently a member of the Sidama Coffee Farmer Cooperative Union (SCFCU).
