Colombian coffee is one of the few pure-origin coffees that can be sold worldwide under its country name. In terms of quality, it has received praise that other coffees cannot match.

Colombia grows Arabica coffee beans throughout its entire territory and is also one of the world's leading coffee-exporting countries. Local coffee is often directly labeled with the country name "Colombia," creating a close association.
