Speaking of which, many friends may not understand what peaberry is. Peaberry can be called "nature's favored child." Each coffee fruit contains two coffee seeds (green coffee beans), growing symmetrically. Normally, each green coffee bean has one flat side, sharing nutrients equally, so the two beans have similar shapes and sizes, known as flat beans. However, exceptions exist - due to certain factors (nutrient deficiency, pest damage, drought, etc.), a coffee fruit may fail to develop normally into two uniform flat beans. One seed takes most of the nutrients, resulting in a round, plump bean. This is how peaberries grow, and "PB" represents the highest screen size grade among peaberries.
Many friends have discussed with us the gender characteristics of peaberries. While we don't agree with this view, we won't elaborate on it here. Some people believe that peaberries absorb most of the essence from a coffee fruit, resulting in exceptional flavor, while others think peaberries are merely a marketing gimmick and not as legendary as claimed. But once you truly experience them, you'll understand - that intoxicating berry-like acidity can truly captivate your senses.
For peaberries, which are already rare, this TOP grade green bean becomes even more precious. Peaberries possess more intense aroma than AA grade coffee beans, with a rounded and smooth character. Furthermore, Kenya's coffee cultivation history dates back to 1893. The country predominantly operates through small-scale family farms, favored by coffee enthusiasts worldwide. In recent years, Kenya has become one of the most beloved coffees among coffee lovers, renowned for its distinctive red wine aroma, berry-like acidity, and rare excellent quality.
