Mama Cata Estate is a very young estate, established in 1997 by Jose David Garrido Perez. Previously, the estate was owned by the Fisher family, and Mr. Garrido renamed this beautiful estate after Catalina Fisher, the respected female elder of the Fisher family. Although a latecomer, it is indeed a rising star in the industry. For many years, Mama Cata Estate has mainly planted Typica and Caturra varieties, with small amounts of Geisha production in recent years. In terms of cultivation, Mr. Garrido has also used technologies such as GPS positioning to better manage soil, plants, and cultivation conditions, thereby achieving higher traceability and higher quality green beans.
