Merielly Pacheco inherited the Finca Buenos Aires from her parents. The farm is located in Tepanguare, La Paz, at an altitude of 1800 meters. On this high, steep, and fertile land, farm owner Merielly cultivates excellent Catuai varieties. With the support of her husband and three children, she focuses on quality and continuously learns, aiming to produce high-quality coffee while gradually increasing production from 20 bags to the current 60 bags. The best batches from Finca Buenos Aires often appear after April, which prevents her from participating in the Cup of Excellence competition, but this does not diminish her reputation!
Farm owner Merielly Pacheco is diligent and quality-focused. The various shade trees, peach trees, and oak trees planted on the farm create another captivating aromatic landscape. The coffee farm uses natural compost, and the sun-drying house after washing is post-processing hardware established after consulting with experts.
Honduran Coffee Overview
Honduras is located in northern Central America, bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the north, the Gulf of Fonseca in the Pacific to the south, Nicaragua and El Salvador to the east and south, and Guatemala to the west. The terrain consists mostly of mountains and plateaus. It has a tropical climate with moderate temperatures and abundant rainfall, making it an ideal place for coffee cultivation.
Honduran coffee has a rich, mellow口感, with a taste that is neither astringent nor acidic. Both the body and aroma are quite distinctive, giving it significant character. Honduran coffee can reveal multi-layered flavors depending on the degree of roasting. Honduran coffee is of first-class quality, and its prices are also the most competitive among Central American countries. It is mainly exported to the United States, Germany, and Japan. The coffee varieties are 100% Arabica, with 69% belonging to HG grade, 12% to SHG, and 19% to CS. The main varieties include Typica, Bourbon, Caturra, Villa Sarchi, and Lempira.

Brewing Method Recommended by FrontStreet Coffee
Dripper: Hario V60
Water Temperature: 90°C
Grind Size: Fuji Royal R-440 #3.5
Brewing Technique: Water-to-coffee ratio of 1:15, using 15g of coffee grounds. First pour 25g of water and let it bloom for 25 seconds. Second pour to 120g and stop the water flow. Wait until the water level in the coffee bed drops to half before continuing to pour. Slowly pour water until reaching 225g total. Extraction time is approximately 2:00.
Analysis: Using a three-stage brewing method to clearly define the front, middle, and back end flavors of the coffee. Because the V60 has many ribs and drains quickly, stopping the water flow can help extend the extraction time.
