Beyond Luwak Coffee! =^_^=

Perfect timing, perfect location, perfect people - everything was in place. The misty weather gave me the feeling of being "in the clouds, in the mist, in happiness."

A newly born luwak kitten, cameras clicking away from all directions, curiously opened its big eyes looking at us. Such a well-behaved and adorable little luwak.

This luwak is showing off its skills! Actually, it was a bit uncomfortable with all the photographers' attention and jumped out of its "home."

Give it some coffee cherries, and it obediently comes back. The pose is quite nice!

The luwak is getting upset, making a "hissing" sound from its mouth, protesting to us X﹏X

This one is domesticated, we call it "civet cat," very cute and even shy!

Tasting Kopi Luwak

After photographing the luwak, of course we had to taste kopi luwak. Deputy Manager Yang from Bitun Coffee brewed the coffee.

Tasting coffee, an extremely enjoyable process. Suddenly I had a thought - could the rich aroma of coffee somehow be transmitted through the camera into the photos?

Little Encyclopedia: Luwak

The luwak, also known as musang, civet cat, Jiujiang leopard cat, nine-banded civet, or large Indian civet. They have small, soft bodies, resembling cats but with a longer and even pointed snout, somewhat like otters or mongooses. Luwaks vary in size, measuring about 0.4-0.7 meters long excluding the tail, and weighing 1-5 kilograms. Luwaks live in tropical and subtropical forest edge habitats.
