The World's Most Valuable and Precious Wild Kopi Luwak

Wild Kopi Luwak is perfect for coffee enthusiasts who pursue perfection. Wild civet coffee can brew an extremely rich layer of flavors, with exceptional purity and rich coffee oils featuring a creamy golden texture. The taste is rich and infused with fruit aromas, bringing a very obvious and persistent aftertaste on the tongue; providing tasters with a noble and rich sensory experience and enjoyment.

Many people asked me if I had genuine wild Kopi Luwak beans, so I asked friends to help collect them from local coffee farmers.

I reluctantly spent several million Indonesian rupiah to purchase them. So poor, so poor, so poor.

A few months later, I had almost forgotten about this matter. This afternoon, when the courier delivered the package and I signed for it, I couldn't figure out what it was at first...

After checking the sender's information, I finally remembered this was the agreement from several months ago...

What came all the way from the Gayo Mountains in Aceh is the renowned in the coffee world—Wild Kopi Luwak (parchment raw beans).

Unboxing Experience

First, the hardware part: an AQUA cup water carton with layers of tape.

The software part: countless sheets of newspaper used as shock-proofing.

Faintly visible through the packaging, it appears to be coffee beans (they wouldn't send soybeans, would they?). Continuing to unpack...

After cutting open the outer white plastic bag, I could finally see these were coffee beans with parchment.

Now I had to be extremely careful not to cut or scratch these precious "droppings" (in classical terms called "egesta").

(I could vaguely hear my own backside shouting, why isn't mine valuable, why isn't mine valuable!!! Sobbing, sobbing, sobbing)

The main character finally appeared... orzorzorz

As soon as I opened it, there was truly a smell of nature~ Thank goodness it had been dried beforehand, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable... Speechless, speechless, speechless.

After opening the outer bag, the Kopi Luwak beans lay quietly inside the thick newspaper, waiting for our physical contact, maintaining their consistently mysterious style~

Wow! Not bad at all. Considering Indonesia's terrible shipping services and the long-distance transportation process, it's amazing that some still maintained their complete shape.

Gathering the courage to handle the droppings, I extended my freshly washed clean hands (why did I just wash my hands?? Helpless), and picked up this world's most expensive coffee—Kopi Luwak.

Because these were "produced" by wild civets, unlike artificially raised civets that eat artificial feed & coffee beans, the contents of their droppings are much more exciting and varied. However, because they're too varied, the structural integrity isn't strong enough, and most of the Kopi Luwak had broken apart.

My first instinct was to quickly pick out the ones that still had shape. If this weren't Kopi Luwak, I wouldn't normally do such foolish things. Please don't misunderstand... I have no special interest in droppings...

From the droppings, one can clearly see the diverse diet of wild civets in the wild, such as animal hair or other plant seeds, allowing us to roughly guess what good things this civet ate today... drooling.

Let me take some more close-ups for everyone to see clearly. After all, this isn't something ordinary people can easily see. Everyone can examine them carefully.

Precious Kopi Luwak is processed from these seemingly unremarkable droppings. The complex and varied contents in these droppings are particularly proof of wild Kopi Luwak.

This civet definitely didn't feel full after eating coffee beans and went to eat red-fleshed guava... or did it eat guava first and then coffee beans??... Is this important? So cold...

The size is just right, the content is rich, and the appearance has something extraordinary. The dark brown velvet casing highlights its noble value.

Lying there low-key, exuding an extraordinary temperament.

This one is truly a giant...

First, let's measure the thickness of the dropping, so I brought out a 500 Indonesian rupiah note. It seems this civet was quite large in size, and what it produced was also more substantial...

Finally, of course, there's the unboxing tradition—stacking game (a passerby nearby kept shouting, can this really be stacked?).

I'm a Lego assembly expert at home... I carefully found the best interlocking positions, and succeeded!! Applause, applause, applause.

Thank you all for watching. The above wild Kopi Luwak sharing ends here. Cheers, cheers.

The man searching for Golden Mandheling has truly found "gold" this time.

Kopi Luwak Brand Recommendations

FrontStreet Coffee's roasted wild Kopi Luwak beans have full guarantees in both brand and quality. More importantly, they offer extremely high cost performance. A 100-gram package costs only around 250 yuan. Calculating based on 15 grams per single-origin coffee cup, one package can make 6 cups of coffee, with each cup costing only 40-50 yuan. Compared to coffee shops that sell a cup for over a hundred yuan, this is extremely cost-effective.
