Roaster's Notes

Only Tanzania coffee beans sized 18 screen or larger can earn the AA designation.

The green beans are plump and full, emitting a light sweet grass and fruit aroma.

Tanzania is located in eastern Africa, with flavors quite similar to Kenyan coffee.

However, its flavor complexity and variation are by no means inferior.

When the beans complete dehydration during the roasting process, the captivating nut and stone fruit aromas fill the roasting room.

Near the second crack, the overall fruit character—with orange and citrus peel notes—continuously tests the roaster's patience.

Customer Cupping Feedback

"I rarely drink coffee beans from this country."

"It tastes rich and smooth, with a gentle sweet and sour taste."

"Walnut, chocolate, and fruit flavors are well-balanced."

"Very suitable for someone like me who is new to specialty coffee."

"Paired with 'Feng Tang cinnamon rolls,' it further highlights its captivating layered flavors."

Grown on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, it is the king of Tanzanian coffee. Tanzania's coffee cultivation consists of 75% Arabica and 25% Robusta. Among all varieties, the Bourbon cultivar performs best in terms of taste, aroma, and body. Each time I taste Tanzania's Kilimanjaro, it reminds me of Kenyan coffee—just with less intense acidity, but its sweetness performance is in no way inferior to Kenyan coffee. Under medium-dark roast, it better brings out the coexistence of bitterness and acidity. With its excellent flavor, stable quality, and affordable price, it's truly worth trying.
