Finca Ponte Estate: Tarrazú's Hidden Gem
Established just over six years ago, Finca Ponte Estate is located in the Leon Coretz region of the Tarrazú coffee-growing area. It is one of several estates founded as a cooperative by the six Rivera siblings. Situated on mountain slopes at elevations exceeding 1,500 meters above sea level, the estate cultivates primarily the Caturra variety. The land undergoes thorough analysis and preparation before planting the most robust seedlings, aiming to achieve exceptional harvests and outstanding cup quality. The estate produces approximately 500 bags of coffee annually.
Commitment to Excellence and Conservation
These estates place special emphasis on natural conservation, maintaining shade trees throughout their properties. During harvest periods, only fully ripe cherries are selectively picked. Dedicated personnel oversee the entire wet and dry processing processes, with utmost attention paid to achieving coffee with clean cup characteristics and exceptional personality—exemplifying the rich flavor and aromatic profile that defines a truly fine coffee.
