Kabana Estate Introduction
Kabana Estate is located in the San Agustin town of Huila Province, Colombia. The estate was founded in 1936 and has a history of 82 years. The current estate owner, Mr. Yeferson Erazo, manages the estate of appropriate size. The altitude is 1750 meters, covering an area of 10 hectares, with an annual coffee production of only 10 tons, of which Geisha's annual production is only 1000KG. In addition to Geisha, the estate also grows varieties such as Caturra, Yellow Caturra, and Bourbon. Kabana is one of the historical estates in Huila, where historical traces can be found in hulling machines, grinders, and roasters. The estate has passed UTZ certification, achieving coffee traceability, and recycling coffee pulp and residue as organic fertilizer. In addition to washed processing, it also experiments with various processing methods such as natural and honey processing.
