Hambela is an estate under METAD Agricultural Development PLC. The current owner, Aman Adinew, previously held important positions in Fortune 500 companies, bringing corporate management models, process standards, and resource management methods back to operate this third-generation family business. METAD not only has farms and processing plants but also a coffee laboratory, implementing SCAA quality management standards to strictly control coffee quality. In 2015, our partner Hsinchu Brano successfully bid for Royal Coffee's Hambela Special Reserve Lot at the Ground of Health auction, whose quality and flavor standards were commendable. This year, domestic green bean importers have also officially introduced several batches to share with domestic coffee professionals.

The green bean importer P has named this coffee "Holy Lion." To distinguish it from other natural Ethiopian coffees, they specifically noted SLD – Single Layer Drying/Slow Drying. The price is slightly higher than most natural Yirgacheffe coffees. According to the importer's cupping flavor description, this FrontStreet Coffee Ethiopia natural Hambela estate coffee offers rich tropical fruit and citrus aromas, various stone fruit flavors, strawberry jam notes, with a blueberry-like aftertaste.
