Chewable coffee, one piece of gum equals the upper limit of daily caffeine intake!!

Coffee and chewing gum are two powerful pick-me-ups, and when these two things are combined, hmm... from start to finish, it's like the taste of three-in-one instant coffee mixed with a strange hint of mint. But recently, a new coffee-flavored chewing gum was launched, and its flavor is quite magical.

According to a report from Yahoo Finance on July 7th in Denver time, a foreign company named Liquid Core Gum released a brand called Life's Gum® Coffee™. What makes this coffee-flavored chewing gum special is its flavor transition process - from the rich coffee taste when you first put it in your mouth, to the gradual disappearance of the coffee flavor in the later stage, leaving only the taste of mint.

Liquid Core Gum's coffee-flavored chewing gum product

The entire process is magical, much like drinking a cup of dirty coffee - in the beginning, you're drinking a mouthful of real coffee; while in the later stage, it's as if the coffee is actually finished, leaving only milk. This gum simply replaces milk with mint, leaving only the taste of mint in the later stage.

Scott Schaible, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Liquid Core Gum, stated that the original marketing concept of this gum, which is mixed with coffee liquid, was as a substitute for a second or third cup of coffee. The caffeine in this gum is extracted from coffee and coffee beans, not some coffee-flavored food additives.

Since each small piece of gum has a liquid center, chewing this coffee-flavored gum can truly provide the experience of drinking coffee. Even those who don't regularly drink coffee can experience the feeling of drinking coffee and have fresh breath through this product.

Another advantage of this coffee-flavored gum is that when you really don't have time to wait for a cup of coffee or drink one, it serves as an excellent alternative. Since it's solid and small in size, you can just put it in your bag and go about your day.

Portable coffee gum for on-the-go use

Unlike liquid coffee, where you might need a cup to hold it, worry about spilling when you're on the move, and fear it might leak onto your clothes while drinking.

On Liquid Core's official website, it's clearly stated that each small piece of this coffee-infused gum contains a coffee center with 80 milligrams of caffeine. A pack contains 5 small pieces, meaning one pack of gum has 400 milligrams of caffeine - which is the upper limit of daily caffeine intake recommended by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for a healthy adult.

Caffeine content information on coffee gum packaging

According to Yahoo's report, if you want to try the lower-caffeine version of this coffee-flavored gum, you can simply squeeze out the coffee center from the gum.

According to their official website's product description, it can help people improve focus, enhance memory, and relieve stress. Additionally, it's a sugar-free and gluten-free product, with stevia used as its sweetener.

Coffee gum packaging and product benefits

It's priced at $7.49 per pack (approximately 48.6 RMB), while a box (15 packs) costs $52.99 (approximately 343.3 RMB). The price does not include shipping fees and tariffs.

This convenient and quick caffeine source, which even saves the time of extracting espresso, seems like a good choice for trying something new based on its price. However, in the long run, it's still more aromatic to buy a bag of coffee beans and brew it yourself - after all, two pieces of gum could match the price of six or seven cups of Panama's Emerald Estate Blue Label Geisha.

I wonder what those of you reading this think about this coffee-flavored chewing gum?
