Jamaica is located in the northwestern part of the Caribbean Sea and is an island nation. Jamaica Island is 234 kilometers long from east to west, 82 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 11,420 square kilometers, of which 10,991 square kilometers is land. It is separated from Haiti by the Jamaica Strait to the east, and about 145 kilometers north of Cuba. It is the third largest island in the Caribbean, with a coastline of 1,220 kilometers. In terms of area in the West Indies, Jamaica ranks third, surpassed only by Cuba and Haiti.

Amber Blue Mountain Coffee grows at altitudes above 1,800 meters and is the only Blue Mountain coffee bean variety. The extreme preciousness and scarcity of Amber Blue Mountain Coffee naturally make it the supreme treasure among Jamaican Blue Mountain coffees, as well as a national treasure of Jamaica. On important diplomatic occasions in Jamaica, Amber Blue Mountain Coffee is considered to represent the highest honor of the Jamaican nation. During the Shanghai World Expo, Amber Blue Mountain green coffee beans were the only representative of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee displayed, becoming the pride and representative of the Jamaica Pavilion.

In 2008, when US President Obama visited Jamaica, the Jamaican government presented Amber Blue Mountain Coffee as a national gift to President Obama, demonstrating the exceptional status of Amber Blue Mountain Coffee in Jamaica, a status incomparable to other Blue Mountain estate coffees.

Amber Estate Blue Mountain No. 1 beans come from Amber Estate, a Jamaican government-certified Blue Mountain coffee estate. Amber Estate is also one of Jamaica's most renowned estates, even visited personally by former US President Obama, which speaks volumes about its fame and status in Jamaica's coffee industry.

Amber Estate is located on the crown of the Blue Mountain range, where there is fertile new volcanic soil, fresh air free from pollution, humid climate with year-round fog and rain, and significant temperature differences between day and night. Such weather conditions, geological structure, and terrain collectively provide an ideal growing environment for high-quality coffee. However, the entire Amber Estate has only 30 hectares of land, and the coffee trees mostly grow on rugged mountain slopes, making the harvesting process extremely difficult and resulting in very limited yields. After strict processing, screening, and grading, Blue Mountain beans are issued quality certification certificates by the government and can only be exported after passing sample inspections.

In fact, as early as 2009, roasted coffee products from Amber Estate had already entered the Chinese market, but at that time, Blue Mountain green coffee beans had not yet been truly imported and sold in the Chinese market, as they were mostly purchased by Japan. Starting from 2010, green coffee beans from different estates such as RSW Estate, Mavis Bank Estate, Wallenford Estate, and Golden Cup Estate gradually entered the Chinese market.

The Jamaica Coffee Industry Board samples coffee from each batch, roasts and grinds it, then brews three cups of coffee. Senior tasters taste them following specific procedures, and only if at least two of the three cups meet the standards can the coffee be certified as Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee.
