The design of this card is inspired by Abateraninkunga ba Sholi, this women-led cooperative and the concept of mutual aid. The entire card features a coffee branch laden with coffee berries as its base, complemented by a woman's hand at both the top and bottom, creating a mutual reflection where cooperation leads to win-win outcomes.
Rwanda's Unique Varieties
MIBIRIZI - A Bourbon tree species introduced to Rwanda from Guatemala. This variety is a natural variant of Bourbon that was first cultivated in Rwanda and later spread to Burundi.
JACKSON - Another variant of Bourbon. This variety was first cultivated in Rwanda and then spread to Burundi.
Flavor Profile
Stunning Rwandan coffees often feature fruit flavors similar to fresh red apples and red grapes. Berry and floral notes are also commonly found.
