Introduction to Pink Bourbon Variety:
Beautiful in appearance but with a strong personality, it can resist leaf rust disease. Pink Bourbon requires careful cultivation and meticulous selection to avoid influence from red and yellow bourbon varieties. Pink Bourbon is difficult to produce consistently, as the recessive color genes can easily be affected by pollen grains with yellow and red genes, causing it to revert. Careful isolation and control are needed to maintain this variety's unique color and flavor characteristics. The Pink Bourbon from Buena Vista Estate, owned by Edgar Motta, features delicate apple aromas and a long-lasting vanilla finish!
