FrontStreet Coffee - American Geisha Origin: Honduras Geisha Introduction
The Geisha variety has made an indelible impact on the coffee world, captivating even the most discerning coffee enthusiasts while simultaneously inspiring revolutionaries in the coffee industry. It has sparked interest in coffee genetics and motivated farmers to think more critically about their coffee variety choices. Since its public debut at a small competition in Panama in 2004, Geisha has become one of the most powerful testimonies in the coffee world.
This Honduras Geisha, the highest-scoring in the country's history, truly amazed us. During cupping, we were conquered by its melancholic floral aroma and rich texture, with a sweetness that seems to penetrate the heart.
We毫不犹豫地选择了这支水洗的瑰夏,由于今年也购买了其他知名庄园的各种瑰夏,而大部分是日晒或厌氧处理。
This washed Honduras Geisha perfectly fills the gap of different processing methods. The absence of high-quality washed Geisha in recent years has always been our regret. This time, we truly found a Geisha with rich and excellent performance.
This is actually an emerging estate born from the love story of the young heir of the renowned 'Mirisu' estate from Nicaragua.
The young heir of Mirisu dated a Honduran girlfriend, then built three new estates on this beautiful land at once, and introduced the most popular Geisha variety from Panama. And this is only the third year, yet it has won the championship and set the record for the highest Geisha price in nearly a decade.
The estate is managed by Elcanc Micrisch and his team.
Among them, their approach to improving coffee quality involves complete detail control from seed to cup, especially outstanding quality control techniques during the drying process. The soil and microclimate of the estate location seem divinely suited for Geisha growth, making it arguably the most attention-grabbing competition entry this year.
