Here's what happened: The content creator who uploaded the video and her friend visited a popular local coffee shop. After their food was served, her friend kept taking endless photos... Because she was shooting for so long, the freeze-dried strawberries that were originally decorating the coffee revealed a shocking scene:

From the video, you can see two "crystal clear" worms crawling on the surface of the freeze-dried strawberries in the coffee, while the inside of the freeze-dried fruit appeared to have been "hollowed out"... When this scene appeared, the content creator couldn't help but exclaim that if her friend hadn't been taking so many photos, she probably would have already consumed the coffee along with the maggots...

After the incident, the staff initially only offered to replace the drink with a new one, and their attitude was casual, without a sincere apology. So the content creator uploaded this scene online and tagged the business location. Since the establishment is quite well-known locally, the video immediately sparked heated discussion and sharing among netizens.

That same evening, pressured by public opinion, an employee claiming to be the store manager contacted the content creator's friend via WeChat, began crying and apologizing, and agreed to provide a full refund for that day's meal, hoping the content creator would delete the online video.

The manager's explanation at the time was that the freeze-dried strawberries weren't properly sealed, and the involved employee had been fired. After the incident occurred, they (the manager themselves) also received corresponding punishment. They also stated that the store was already checking every detail. However, because the content creator was unwilling to delete the video, the manager kept harassing the content creator's friend...

Simultaneously, the owner of the involved shop also contacted the content creator and gave the following explanation: Because the previous old employees had poor work attitudes and non-standard procedures, all of them were fired and replaced with a new batch of employees. Perhaps there were omissions and negligence during the handover between old and new employees, which led to this incident.

During the communication process, the store kept emphasizing that it was because the previous old employees' casual attitude had corrupted the store's atmosphere, and they stated that the store had already carried out rectification and cultivated the service awareness of new employees. They also hoped that after the rectification, the content creator would be willing to visit again if they wished.
