Only coffee grown within the Blue Mountain area designated by Jamaican law and processed in specified factories can be considered authentic "Blue Mountain Coffee." Due to the fame of Blue Mountain Coffee, Jamaica is even known to the world as the "Land of Blue Mountain"!
Pure Blue Mountain Coffee comes in four grades: No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, and PB (Peaberry). It is traditionally packaged in 70 kg/barrel wooden barrels and receives quality certification from the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica (CIB).
