Introduction to Daterra Estate
Daterra Farm is located at an altitude of over 1,150 meters with an average temperature of about 25 degrees. All production is Arabica coffee, and the dry season harvest period also contributes to better coffee quality. Daterra Estate is divided into more than 200 small farms, finely partitioned into over 2,800 blocks. Each farm is managed separately, and they have developed complex management systems and equipment, including satellite positioning management to monitor detailed information such as rainfall, temperature, and harvest data.
The estate has also passed multiple international certifications: ISO14001 - Environmental Management System certification; IBD Organic certification; UTZ Kapeh Good Coffee certification; and Rainforest Alliance - Sustainable Agriculture Network Seal certification.
Daterra has a significant flavor difference compared to typical Brazilian coffees, possessing complex and high-quality sweet fruit aromas and comfortable citrus acidity. Additionally, its aftertaste, body, and aroma have notes of vanilla and caramel. In 2008, among the top six finalists in the World Barista Championship, four competitors used Daterra products.
