Businesses must properly preserve transaction records for boxed mooncakes sold at unit prices exceeding 500 yuan for two years, available for inspection by relevant authorities as required by law. Where necessary, cost investigations will be launched immediately against these businesses.

Producers and sellers of boxed mooncakes must strictly comply with mandatory food packaging standards, refrain from using precious materials such as precious metals and rosewood, and cut back on excessive packaging. Green, environmentally friendly packaging with secondary uses is encouraged.

E-commerce platform sellers of boxed mooncakes must follow the same rules and are prohibited from mixed sales or falsifying prices through tactics such as splitting orders or artificially inflating quantities.
