Controversy Surrounding ChaYanYueSe: Napkin Incident Sparks Online Debate

Following the recent unprecedented workplace conflict at ChaYanYueSe, a new wave of controversy has emerged. On December 19th, a netizen named Ms. Wu posted a video on social media claiming she had purchased six cups of ChaYanYueSe tea that day. After finishing one of the drinks, she noticed the cup felt unusually heavy, so she opened the lid to investigate and discovered two complete napkins inside the milk tea cup. Finding this incredible, she immediately shared the video, which quickly went viral and sparked widespread discussion among netizens, once again landing ChaYanYueSe in the trending topics.

When interviewed by media outlets, Ms. Wu stated that she immediately reported the issue to ChaYanYueSe staff. She recounted their response as: "Did you experience any problems after drinking it? We can remake a cup for you; checking the surveillance footage would be quite troublesome." During the interview, Ms. Wu also proposed her solution: to handle the matter according to Article 148 of the Food Safety Law (which calls for ten times compensation).

The involved store responded to the media, stating that after reviewing surveillance footage, they found no issues throughout the entire process of the drink in question – from ordering to preparation, from taking the paper cup (upside down) to serving the final product. Meanwhile, the store has been continuously trying to contact the customer to resolve this issue.

This time trending on social media wasn't about netizens criticizing ChaYanYueSe for food safety issues, but rather divided opinions – some questioning whether Ms. Wu was deliberately smearing the brand, while others suspected ChaYanYueSe was playing the victim.
