FrontStreet Coffee - Introduction to Colombia's La Granja Estate
Colombia's suitable climate provides a true "natural pasture" for coffee. Colombia's coffee trees are mainly cultivated in the Andes Mountains, on steep slopes at altitudes around 1,300 meters. The temperature there remains approximately 18 degrees Celsius year-round, with annual rainfall between 2,000 to 3,000 millimeters. Due to the special combination of various factors - the latitude and altitude of Colombia's coffee growing regions, the soil, the botanical origin of species and coffee varieties, the terrain that changes throughout the day, light intensity, favorable temperature ranges throughout the year, appropriate rainfall distribution, and common cultural practices including selective harvesting and transformation processes such as washing and drying - the conditions are extremely suitable for coffee growth, with mild climate, humid air, and harvest possible year-round.
La Granja Estate is located in Colombia's Santander region. The farm owner, Vargas, has operated La Granja Farm for coffee cultivation for up to 20 years, accumulating more understanding and practical experience in coffee planting and processing through years of development and experimentation.

At La Granja Farm, only fully mature, bright red coffee cherries are selected for picking. Through washing, defective floating beans are removed, followed by two rounds of anaerobic fermentation with special enzyme groups. Great attention is also paid to the drying process of coffee beans, avoiding excessively high temperatures and adopting a slow drying method.

Caturra - [Suitable for Intensive Cultivation]
The Caturra variety was discovered in Brazil around 1935 and is an excellent mutant of the Bourbon variety. The "Caturra" tree is small, typically only 2m tall, with a short thick trunk and many branches and leaves, but has average productivity, average quality, and average bean size. The Caturra variety can adapt to various cultivation environments. Colombia, a coffee-producing country in South America, has always been world-famous for its mild flavor and excellent balance. This bean is suitable for coffee enthusiasts who are new to coffee.
Knowledge Point
Ethiopia holds the ancestral position in the coffee world, being the birthplace of Arabica beans and currently Africa's largest Arabica-producing country. The Kaffa Forest in Ethiopia is even known as the "coffee gene bank."
