Farm Introduction
San Jose Buena Vista Farm is located in the Antigua region, which is famous for growing some of the world's best coffee. The farm is situated in the San Juan Alotenango area and is managed by the Hermnandez family. Under the traditional and meticulous care of Mr. Don Adolfo, San Jose Buena Vista Farm has now been handed over to his son, Jose Adolfo Hernandez, who personally supervises every production stage to ensure the production of the highest and best coffee quality, providing consumers with authentic traditional Antigua coffee.
The coffee grown in this region is surrounded by beautiful volcanoes. The area's mineral-rich volcanic soil gives coffee its unique cupping characteristics, including delicate elegance, high balance, refined aroma, and high sweetness. The coffee harvest is 100% hand-picked, then carefully selected by local attentive female agricultural workers to pick bright red, firm, and fully mature red cherry fruits.
Due to its excellent geographical location, San Jose Buena Vista Farm is situated in the mountainous area of the Antigua region in Guatemala. The farm boasts a breathtaking and incredible view where you can appreciate the sacred Volcán de Fuego (Fire Volcano), which is also the origin of San Jose Buena Vista Farm's name.
