Coffee Experience in Laos

I've had coffee in Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng, and Vientiane, with Vientiane having the best taste - very strong. The coffee I drank in all three locations had no coffee aroma, so I think perhaps Laotian coffee doesn't have coffee aroma.

If you want to buy Dao coffee, it's much cheaper at Vientiane airport. A box of 10 3-in-1 coffee packets costs US$1, 30 packets cost US$2.5, and 50 packets cost US$4. Coffee beans and ground coffee are also available for sale. You can check the introduction at http://www.daoheuangcoffee.com/.

Laos also has two coffee brands: Pakxong and Dao. I found them quite good after trying them.

If you want to buy Dao 3-in-1 coffee or A-brand cigarettes, you can go to Pha Mahapatsama Road and Wisunarat Road (the road where Jaliya G.H. is located). There are several wholesale stores here where Dao 3-in-1 coffee (60-pack) costs only 26,000-27,000 Kip, while a packet at grocery stores on Sisavangvong costs 35,000 Kip. A carton of A-brand cigarettes costs 30,000 Kip, while grocery stores on Sisavangvong sell them for 40,000 Kip.

Laos DAO coffee has a quite good taste, being fragrant and strong, and many Chinese people who visit there enjoy drinking it. If sold locally in Laos, it costs about 25 RMB per packet (600g).

About Dao Coffee

Dao coffee is produced from the Bolaven Plateau in southern Laos. Laos's unique volcanic geology and climate create exceptionally flavorful coffee. Dao coffee is processed by the Dao-Heuang Group Coffee Factory using modern international standard technology.

With the rapid growth of coffee sales in China, the company decided to proactively seize business opportunities by introducing Laos Dao coffee products to various regions in China.
